Joyce Smith previously worked 15 years with a Certified Public Accounting Firm, with primary concentration in business consulting services.  Among these services are, but not limited to; Business Valuations, Projections, Business Plans, Buy/Sell Agreements.  Joyce performed extensive accounting for various businesses, including international and domestic, in retail, wholesale, not-for-profit and service industries.

Common Cents Accounting, LLC d/b/a Creekside Accounting is one of Joyce’s long-term Entrepreneurial endeavors, providing Accounting Services for private clients since 2005.  Previously, Joyce purchased an existing printing business in 1992, increasing gross revenues by approximately 10 times in 7 years, before selling it.

Joyce specialized in personal and business financial planning while working for a top financial planning company.  Her applicable skills included cash flow techniques, retirement plans, employee benefits and health insurance (group and individual).  Joyce’s investment experience covered mutual funds, certificates, stocks, bonds, UITs, limited partnerships, insurance (life, health and disability), retirement and estate planning.

Joyce has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Emphasis in Finance and Accounting) from the University of Pittsburgh, PA.
